Who knew giving my absentee dad an award for Father's Day would have such pleasant consequences for both of us?

 My dad would rather spend the third Sunday in June on the golf course than with me. He also missed my (25th) birthday again this year. I send a little present to him at the country club. When he shows up at my condo to put his award to good use, I think he's joking.

He is not joking. What happens next leads to the best Sunday afternoon of my life. I take it back -- he might deserve the award for Sperm Donor of the Year, after all.
